back from the bachelorette party, alive...

mother nature could not have given us a more perfect weekend in nantucket if we had begged and pleaded with her...it was stunning! we were so fortunate to be offered a wonderful house to stay in, that of my sister's future in-laws, literally steps from the beach...

and although we did not break out the octabong (much to my pleasure actually), we had the BEST time. my sisters group of friends are unlike any people i have ever met. they're all successful in their careers, are incredibly polite, have great style, are super pretty, and really know how to have fun. but most importantly, they love my sister and she loves them. how colorful is this group of bachelorettes?....

before we went out on saturday night we had a little cocktail hour & some trivia out on the deck in the dunes. i think i've mentioned this before, but my sister met her fiance in the 2nd grade, and they've been 'dating' since 8th grade....crazy right? her future sister-in-law asked the fiance a few 'how well do you know each other' questions...and well, my sister pretty much answered verbatim...no joke, it was kind of creepy...

and as much as i love and appreciate my sister...

...these two ladies also do. they will become sister-in-laws in just a few short weeks, and i could not be more happy that my sister will have them in her life forever; to confide in, to make memories with, to complain about their husbands with (sorry boys!), and someday they will all have children who will be cousins!!!...

the bridesmaids also helped putting these super fun little goodie-bags together for all the girls who came. they were filled with custom embroidered beach towels (pink, blue or white), t-shirts made from the image i used on her bachelorette party invites, gatorade (a must for my sisters hangovers) and product samples from the body shop...
