dog days of summer...

last night i told the boyfriend, "i think i want to be a dog photographer", to which he immediately laughed. after completing graduate school last year i vowed to NEVER step foot in a class room again, but recently i've been contemplating taking a course in photography at the adult continuing education center here in boston. i took photography all through high school and college, and even won first place in the westchester county public school photography contest...like a million years ago though. i love taking pictures of just about anything, but especially the dogs...

2008 labor day weekend, huntington, vt

so i started to look at some professionals work, and let me tell you, there is some real talent out there. it must be a wonderful career. here are a few i particularly like...

  1. I think it is a great idea. Just yesterday I was taking pictures of a friends horse for him and thought how much I would love to be able to do this every day. Maybe a new career beckons too....
