i don't want to get ahead of myself, but i think it's actually going to happen. as over the moon excited as i am about this little bungalow slice of heaven, i am also a little sad to be leaving my back bay apartment. mainly for the fact that i won't be in the center of it all, but for other reasons as well...one being losing my magnificent bookcases...
seriously people, where am i going to put all my beloved books? the new house doesn't have a single built-in book shelf. currently there's a little bedroom/office on the way to the master suite stairs (that's butt ugly- minty-lime green with poop brown trim, who paints with those colors?) that i was thinking i'd ripping out the current closet & ugly shelving/desk unit and doing floor to ceiling shelves in (and maybe put a little daybed in here in case i have an overflow of house guests someday)...
needless to say i hit pinterest for a little creative bookcase inspiration and found gobs of things i love (but probably can't afford to actually do)...
