mother-daughter adventure

mom and i had a nova scotia adventure today along scenic route 2. we first stumbled upon a trio of great antique store. i didn't buy anything (shocking, i know), but mom cleaned up...

then, randomly, we found the dutch cheese man. we were a little aprehensive driving up the dirt road, passing massive cows, and some seriously wierd looking dude...but when we got there we were pleasantly surprised. it was a pretty neat little operation in the middle of nowhere. we bought a few hunks of cheese for the week. we'll definitely be back...

seven bald eagles, a lunch stop of fish & chips in parrsboro, and a quick but interesting pass through of in tyson's fine mineral store we finally reached joggins fossil cliffs. yes, we are nerds, we went in search of 300 million year old fossils on the shores of chignecto bay...and we actually found a few!...

i also happen to find this super big nail from an old mining dock...yes, super nerd, i get excited by large, rusty nails...

we have a full agenda of adventures this week, stay tuned!
